Dry in the south this evening with clear skies. Turning cloudier from the north with patchy rain and drizzle sinking southwards. Generally frost-free. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Saturday:

Often cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle, locally heavy at times through the afternoon. The occasional brighter spell possible with generally light winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Some bright spells on Sunday with heavy rain by the evening. Further spells of rain, and possible sleet or snow on Monday and Tuesday. Turning colder.

There is a hint that it may become less cold late in the period, but still likely remain mostly unsettled with further spells of rain and snow.
