Cooler with sunshine and showers. Winds easing Tuesday.
Today:
Cooler start on Monday with a mixture of sunny spells and blustery scattered showers. These heavy at times, carrying the risk of hail and the odd rumble of thunder possible. Temperatures returning closer to the seasonal average. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Tonight:
Heavy showers continuing through this evening and overnight mixed with clear spells in between, before easing by dawn. Turning chilly with winds easing. Minimum temperature 2 °C.
Tuesday:
Any showers soon fading to leave a fine day with plenty of sunshine. Cloud may turn hazy later in the afternoon but remaining dry. Lighter winds than of late. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Cloudier in the south with rain and stronger winds on Wednesday. Drier and brighter on Thursday and Friday with overnight frost and fog patches likely. Temperatures around average.
