Any evening showers will soon die away, to leave clear spells and mostly dry conditions in the east with generally light winds. Becoming cloudier with some showers over the western hills towards dawn. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Sunday:

A band of cloud and showers at first, will move east. Sunny spells and scattered showers following, locally heavy for a time before dying out in the evening. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Rather cloudy but bright spells Monday and Wednesday, with light showers over the hills. Mostly cloudy Tuesday with outbreaks of rain moving south-eastwards. Occasionally breezy. Slowly becoming warmer.

High pressure likely to dominate through this period, bringing dry and generally settled conditions. Southern and eastern areas can expect the best of any fine and dry weather, with light winds, and warm or very warm temperatures. The north and northwest will experience cloudier conditions with mostly light rain, though some heavier outbreaks can't be ruled out in the far northwest, with moderate or fresh winds in the far north, and near normal temperatures. This generally settled regime persists for much of the remainder of the period, although cloud, showers, and some longer spells of rain may continue to affect northern areas at times, and some showers are possible across the south. Temperatures widely near or above average through this period, especially in the south where it may be warm.

Higher pressure is likely to continue bringing generally fine and settled weather throughout the rest of July, which may extend more widely across the UK. However, we may see some less settled weather for a time at the start of this period, with northern areas likely to continue seeing showers, these extending further south at times. Temperatures will be near or above normal, becoming warmer throughout July. We may see some very warm or hot temperatures, especially across the south.
